Hardware

The Hardware tote is a squared open shopper with wide flat handles, built in canvas with leather trim or wholly in leather, and identified by the house name in large lettering across the front. Black leads in what circulates. It is an unstructured shopper carried loaded, so the sides bow and the base sags with use; that is normal rather than damage. Check the handles where they meet the body, which is where the weight concentrates, the base corners, and the printed or embossed lettering, which cracks and fades.
