Ava

The Ava is a small, soft shoulder bag with a curved flap and a short strap worn under the arm, revived from a shape the house made decades earlier. It is found in smooth leather, in denim, and in the coated Triomphe canvas with leather trim. Brown and multicolour lead, which follows from how much of it is made in canvas rather than plain hide. The flap curve and the short strap take the handling: check the flap edge where it rubs, the strap at its stitched fittings, and on canvas versions whether the coating has lifted along the folds.
