Saddle

The Saddle takes its shape from a riding saddle: an asymmetric curved front, a flap that follows the curve, and the house's initials worked as a metal hook at the side. It has been made in grained and smooth calfskin, in oblique jacquard, and in coated and printed materials. Blues and multicolour lead, ahead of black. The curve is what makes it hard to keep: the flap edge follows a shape that rubs against everything, and the leather there wears pale before the body does. Check that edge, the hook and its plating, and the strap at its fittings.
