Bamboo Shopper

This is the tote form of the house's bamboo-handled design: a large open shopper with a pair of heated and bent bamboo handles, in coated canvas or leather, usually with no fastening. Browns, pinks and reds lead. The bamboo cannot be repaired or matched: it dries, cracks along the grain and splits at the metal fittings, which is what ends most of these. Check both handles along their length and at both ends, then the base corners and the canvas at the fold lines.
