Juicy Couture

Juicy Couture was founded in Los Angeles in 1997 by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, who began with maternity trousers and moved into casual separates. The velour tracksuit arrived in 2001 and defined the label for a decade; Liz Claiborne bought the company in 2003, and it has since passed through several owners and a deliberate revival of its early look. Bags here are an extension of that history rather than a leather-goods tradition, and no lines have been matched to them in our catalogue. What turns up is mostly terry and velour totes, quilted nylon, patent and coated finishes, heart charms and crown logos, with the crystal-set hardware of the original run now the most collected part.
