Karl Lagerfeld

This is Karl Lagerfeld's own label, created in 1984 and run alongside the work he is better known for at Chanel and Fendi. It was always the more graphic and less expensive of his outlets, built on the silhouette he made of himself — the high collar, the black and white, the profile drawn as a logo. Lagerfeld died in 2019, and the American group G-III took full ownership of the brand in 2022. There are no matched line names here to sort by, so read the listings by material instead. Most are grained or cross-grain coated leather in black, white and silver, with the cartoon profile or the signature used as hardware, quilting or print. Prices sit well below the houses he designed for, and corner wear on the coated finishes is the usual limit on condition.
